Was this game cool, and is it dead? What's the story?
Odds are, anything I say here is NSFW.
Haven't played is a couple years. It was pretty cool. Crafting was cool. Exploration was cool. Actually exploring had some neat minigames and whatnot that made it worthwhile to try to find the highest point in each zone, etc.
But from what I saw it looked like it was heading from being largely "auto-teamup" in open zones to being WoW-like in endgame (gotta get a group aimed at raiding). At least from what I recall. The open world conflict was somewhat decent.
Maybe some people still play. I'm out of the MMO biz, although I was maybe going to peek at Planetside again (which is MMOFPS I guess).
Thanks for the review, always curious about "WoW killers" and where they end up. It looked fun, but I didn't have time to start over. Funny thing is I could roll up a toon on WoW and be raiding in a week now a days.
