I got a free month on Netflix so I finally started watching this series. I watched three in a row last night. IT'S AWESOME.
Also, Christina Hendricks.
Is she the "companion"? Yes, she's hot. And when does Summer Glau start kicking ass? I thought she was some kind of super fighter?
Inara is not played by Christina Hendricks. Summer Glau really doesn't get to be an extreme badass until the movie, but you will be treated to some minor badassery here and there.

Well that explains it. I watched them wrong, I've already seen Serenity. So every time she gets in a tight spot or her brother is threatened I keep thinking she'll bust out some hot ninja ballerina action. I'll try to temper my anticipation.
I haven't seen the lovely redhead episodes yet. Only on episode 6 I think.

I'm really surprised they aren't looking at rebooting this series. There is a ton of crap getting re-made, and this is one people actually want!
