Nope! Amazingly, Trevor Davis and Kyler Fackrell both survived to another (initial) 53 man roster. We'll see what the season brings.

That said, Gute was willing to dump his 2018 trade boi Deshone Kizer, as well as one of his 2018 draft picks in J'Mon Moore. He doesn't seem to suffer from "sunk cost" delusion, at least as much as Ted did in his last few years. Take the L on Kizer, give up and move on with life.

EDIT: Trevor Davis traded away for a 6th round pick after week 2. 4/7 left from 2016!

After getting hired and fired by Arizona, I hoped Rosen would have a happier life in Miami in year two.

Dolphins just traded away their best offensive lineman and best WR for draft picks.

Look, I know it was Trubisky. I know.

But he did some good things at home last season (2000 yards passing, 300 yards rushing, 21 total TDs, 7-1 record).

He's in his third year as a starter, second year in Matt Nagy's system. All of Chicago's playmakers were out there and the healthiest they'll be until 2020. Tarik Cohen, Allen Robinson, David Montgomery. They had their offense ready to go.

And Pettine's defense went into Soldier Field and held them to 3 points. It was Trubisky but I'm still really encouraged.

Yeah, GB's offense sucked too. But in contrast to CHI's situation, they're in their first year under LaFleur/Hackett, they were up against that ridiculous defense (on the road), and it's not Trubisky so there's reason to think things will improve.

Clay had a sack today for the Rams, and Cobb scored a TD for the Cowboys.

I would have loved to have both those guys back in GB, but Clay wasn't a great scheme fit, and Cobb was in the thick of an extremely overpopulated (and young) WR room. And they're both sort of chronically injured. So I'm a little sad for now, but in a month when they're each dealing with nagging hamstring injuries, I might miss them slightly less.

Still, might rather have Clay for $9M/2yr and Cobb for $5M/1yr than Fackrell/Davis, but youth > experience.

Mahomes is great, but he's reading a few too many of his own press clippings.
