Mike McCarthy pushed "next man up" during the Super bowl season of 2010, but the internet didn't really latch on. Mike McCarthy's meme-ability is very low.

Aaron Rodgers is a different story. He's got a certain viral quality. Perhaps it's the fact that he's an asshole.

First 2014 brought us "R-E-L-A-X," which Packer fans will still not shut up about.

That ended up being a great year, 100% thanks to the meme. Then in 2016, Rodgers said "I think we can run the table," and that was a fun year.

My personal favorite was last year, kind of a lost season, where Rodgers busted up his knee in week 1 and then gave a post-game interview while obviously coked out of his mind:

Quality meme. Now in 2019, it's: "I wouldn’t mind winning ugly all the way to the Super Bowl."

It's not just "Win Ugly," it's also the notion that the Packers are literally the worst 13-3 team ever (though clearly untrue), and when they win the Super Bowl we'll still be scratching our heads and wondering if they're actually any good.

I hate the Pats and Brady and Belichick, but I gotta say I kinda love Belichick at the same time. He's always keeping it real.

REPORTER: "What would you say to fans who've stuck with your team through thick and thin, Bill?"

BELICHICK: "I wouldn't say it's been that thin around here, personally."

After stumbling on PFF's review of the Divisional weekend, I had to edit this together.

Wow, this is some sad shit:

    Aaron Rodgers' 7 playoff losses:

    1) D gave up 45 points
    2) D gave up 37 points
    3) D gave up 45 points
    4) Led game-tying drive, never got ball again
    5) Led game-tying drive, never got ball again
    6) Led game-tying drive, never got ball again
    7) D gave up 44 points

    Choker
Wonder what kind of loss Sunday will bring!

Congratulations Andy Reid! "Head coaches who have led two different NFL teams to the Super Bowl" is some rare-ass air:

    • Don Shula ('68 Colts, '72 Dolphins)
    • Bill Parcells ('86 Giants, '96 Patriots)
    • Dick Vermeil ('80 Eagles, '99 Rams)
    • Mike Holmgren ('96 Packers, '05 Seahawks)
    • Andy Reid ('04 Eagles, '19 Chiefs)

The last time the Packers used a first round draft pick on...

    • an offensive player: 2010 (Derek Sherrod, OT)
    • an offensive skill position player: 2005 (Aaron Rodgers, QB)
    • a non-QB offensive skill position player: 2002 (Javon Walker, WR)

Eighteen years. The last blue chip WR to arrive in this town is now legal to fuck. That came out wrong.

It's time, Gute. It's tiiiiime. Also go get a free agent or two. Please oh god.

I love these kinds of things. Bears fan posting in r/GreenBayPackers last offseason (and now it has aged like milk):
