Well, all our playoff spots are claimed, and I'm out -- in 7th place. I've scored 1575 points this season, third most in the league. But I also had 1528 scored against me. The only other guy with over 1500 points against is last, in 12th place (hi Equoria).

Life isn't fair. I assembled a decent team, held it together, did muh best. But I kept getting dunked on week after week.

Here's what the past month of the Hundley Era has looked like:

Week Game Result QB Rating TD/INT
    10 @CHI W 110.7 1/0
    11 BAL L 43.6 0/3
    12 @PIT L 134.3 3/0
    13 TB W 48.3 0/1
    14 @CLE ? 100+ 4/0
Home and away doesn't seem to matter, quality of opponent doesn't seem to matter. "Good Hundley" and "Shit Hundley" are literally taking turns. The TB game is the first time the rest of the team has been able to compensate for Hundley's "Shit Mode" and get a win (though it took OT in a home game, with some good RB play and a defensive TD, to get it done).

Extrapolating from current patterns, I'm assuming next week's game in Cleveland will include a tremendous quarterbacking performance.

Two ugly OT wins in a row. We in Helms Deep territory now, boys.

EDIT: Also, I was shit-talking Hundley through most of that game, but he held it together and was a positive influence overall. Notched his third win, kept hope alive. Here's the updated Alternating Hundley Chart:

Week Game Result QB Rating TD/INT
    10 @CHI W 110.7 1/0
    11 BAL L 43.6 0/3
    12 @PIT L 134.3 3/0
    13 TB W 48.3 0/1
    14 @CLE W 111.2 3/0
    15 @CAR AR12? 10000+ 400/0

Please. Ted, Mike. I'm begging you. Fire Dom Capers. Rodgers was too rusty to bail the team out all by himself, and maybe it's a blessing, because now Dom hasn't got a team in the playoffs (yet again) to use as cover. Winning the last 3 games of the season was an optimistic pipe dream, but it didn't have to be that way. There's talent on the defensive side of the ball, but they're so poorly coordinated: blown coverages, zero adjustments over the course of the game, it's just bad coaching and bad planning and I'm sick of it. The defense should be good enough to carry the team once in a while.

Lost the championship game in both my fantasy leagues this week. Ended on a bit of a bummer, but still glad to have done as well as I did. Must have been time for me to win since I was contemplating dropped one of the two for next year, but now I'm anxious to start up again!

Packers got wince-inducingly crushed all year long, and my fantasy seasons both ended in terrible futility. Life is meaningless and full of pain.
