    This forum thread is pretty short, we should flush it out with more pet peeves.

    People who mean spiel, but type shpeel. For example: "He gave me the whole 'facts don't care about feelings' shpeel."

    Look, I know spiel is a foreign word. But we don't spell things out phonetically for the hell of it ("cruhsont" and "peetsa" spring to mind) and I'm seeing "shpeel" more and more lately.

    Pretty soon they'll add it to the dictionary and those people will be even more encouraged to do it wrong.
