Yeah, I'm through 5 episodes so far and it's pretty boring to be honest.

New series from the Duplass brothers. I'd never heard of this story before but it's pretty bonkers it actually happened. Makes me wonder if this was an inspiration for the Saw series

It sure ain't a Netflix Original, but Netflix is about to be the only -- and first -- place to see Evangelion online. I haven't watched this thing since the DVDs came out in like 2000. Watched it with my roommates in college. So fucked up. We loved it. I'm looking forward to seeing it in HD.

Jeezus. Turn down your volume and don't watch with kids in the room. No idea what this is, but I'm ordering ten.

Just turned on episode 1 of The Umbrella Academy. I wasn't sure about it at first, seems like subject matter I'd enjoy (superpower people, etc.) but it was skewing a little too grimdark, I wanted more quirkiness. Then I got to the dancing scene, and now I'm completely on board. That was too cute.

Thanks for telling me to avoid it altogether.

You avoid all things with dancing?

Just finished it. It was okay. Ten episodes to cover (parts of) the first six issues of the comic, it felt extremely stretched out in places. Had some good parts, at times it felt like they were trying to evoke something like Preacher, but they didn't really come close. I think you could edit the whole first season down to one movie, and it'd be better off.

I don't think this is a Netflix Original, but it is on Netflix right now and I recommend it.

Dude, I'm super in. I read the comic years ago, and this plus Preacher are the reasons I'll read anything by Garth Ennis.
