Thread: WoW Classic

    WoW Classic

Hey y'all, it's been a while. Not sure if you remember me, but I played WoW with you guys back in the vanilla days, on a priest named Drajl. I was curious if you all had any plans to try out classic when it comes out, because I would be 100% down to roll up a priest on Malygos and join back up with Oblivious. I know life's busier for everyone these days, so I won't be too hurt if it doesn't happen. Classic just got me thinking about the vanilla days and I figured I'd see if the forums were still here and say hi.

As of right now, I don't know that anyone is planning on going back in for Classic. Sheil still had an active subscription so he might, but the rest of the active gang here on the forums hasn't talked about it at all really.

Hey Drajl! My priorities have changed a ton in the 14 years since Vanilla WoW, I just don't have the time to invest in it anymore. Or, really, the desire to invest the time even if I had it. I don't regret the time I spent playing WoW but I'm done with it.

Haha yeah I'm surprised I remembered the login too, and that you guys still use this place, but it's neat to see it's still here. I guess I never really stopped playing wow so I'm planing to give it a shot just for the novelty. Certainly can't blame you for not wanting to invest the time, I'm just lucky enough to still be in school and have a little free time to throw away.

Also, I found this old hoodie in my closet, and I thought you guys might get a kick out of it.

That might be the nicest article of Oblivious Films merch ever created.

Love the hoodie! I think I still have a "The Grind" polo buried in my closet somewhere.

As for classic, I'm on the no time train. It was fun back in the day but at some point I realized my /played time was equivalent to another full time job and I should get a hobby. Now I have too many hobbies.
