I am a friend of Zoggs, been playing since Vanilla on and off, raided in Vanilla, BC, and Wrath. I just transferred from Kirin Tor (horrible server) cause someone talked me into playing on a RP server... obviously a bad idea. My main was a 85 goblin rogue but looking to switch to my pally. Thanks!

I will warn you here that some asshat made tanking easy popular, and we have a glut of people in guild that are doing so (or hoping to). If you hope to raid 10Ms with us, you *will* have competition for spots.

Not to sound cliche but competition makes people better, I have no problem with competition, and I can always heal if tank slots are taken. I just have always played DPS and wanted to do something different.

I'd welcome tanks with wide arms. There is a myth that we have 'plenty of tanks'- however the fact is when anyone asks in gchat for a tank I never see a response. I believe the only active tanks we currently have are: Nyyx and Korfax.

The last time I ran with Mulcavian he said he was building his dps set because 'we had too many tanks', so we had to pug a tank. The fact that I (and other dps) have to queue for 40 mins every night for a random heroic tells me we're short on tanks.

Plus we don't have any paladin tanks.

I'll agree that right now you can tick off on one hand those tanks that are active, and are tanking heroics (you missed Threnn btw), and I'll bet Mulc is planning for the short term where there are only 2 10Ms and he may need to go cat.

However, doesn't stop him from joining us and adding to the ranks.

Edit: If any of the mythical 'other tanks' are reading this, consider it your warning that those spots aren't gaurenteed, especially if you don't assert your interest via actions!
