I've played the batman games with the mouse and keyboard with zero problems. My kids have both played it some too. That doesn't mean a controller might not be up your alley if that is your thing.

I tried both ways, but the controller just worked a great deal better for me.

Apparently this is the thread where I was listing Diablolikes at one point in the distant past, so I'll link this here:

Titan Quest Anniversary Edition is free (if you owned Titan Quest already) and I will try to remember to download it! Or maybe I won't. I already have Diablo III, Torchlight II, and Path of Exile installed.

Titan Quest Anniversary was already in my Steam Library. Installing now because hell, why not?

TQ was a great game. That held us over for a decent clip while waiting for other games. I remember it fondly. Reading the Rock, Paper, Shotgun article about it (from the steam page) it says they did a balance update as well. Hopefully that was done well. There were definitely some broken good/bad builds.

Yeah, so I forgot how slooooow the attacks are. My wife is like "did I like this game"? And I assured her she did. But after playing for a while she basically said she'll continue to play it until I've had enough because the attacks are just so slow.

Yeah that was my experience as well. It's a much slower game than Diablo 3. I felt like I was misclicking half the time because my attacks didn't seem to come at the right time. I only managed to play for about 20 minutes before it was too much for me.

I was hoping for Diablo 4, but instead Blizzard announced "Diablo Immortal" ... a mobile game ... made by NetEase Games, a Chinese developer.

They got booed pretty hard on stage when they announced that shit at Blizzcon. And now the internet's freaking out even more.

Turns out it's just an exact copy of an existing NetEase P2W game called "Eternal Realm."

Slap on some UI elements from another NetEase P2W game, "Crusders of Light," and bam!

    EDIT: ouch
