Screw steampunk. You all saw Mad Max, right? This is gutterpunk.

Tom Hanks' Electric City is pretty cool. I really like the sidebar that pops up the character bios as they appear in the videos and the map that updates to the location where the action in the video is taking place.

Where did I get this link? Here? Reddit? Whatever, it's been sitting open in my browser for a day or two now, and I finally watched it, and it's kinda neat.

Speaking of Reddit, it's going absolutely crazy over this video today. Not a dry eye in the house.

I didn't feel a single thing while watching it. Am I a robot?

It's just too blatantly manipulative, I guess.

It got me about 10% and I'm a pretty big sucker for these things, so you're only 10% robot.

I wasn't feeling a thing til the quick cut to the dad helping the toddler walk. It was about a second of the 3:09 video, but that was enough. Faded quickly though.

That was where it got especially manipulative and I started rolling my eyes. Nice try, feelings.

Ridiculously overproduced (but interesting) two-part video showing this dude making a computer case. Not just any computer case, of course. By the time he gets done, it's... pretty crazy.

I've seen this kind of agricultural technology before, but never making such use of an urban environment, and never hooked up to twitter. Pretty neat.
