Well, it's gonna take 48 hours and a full spool of filament, but that's what makes it a weekend project:

Thought you didn't need one? You were pretty adamant.

I wanted this one, but my work printer isn't working consistently enough to trust it over the weekend on something this big.

And before that I built a sweet table, with lamps and valve switches...

Neat! Nice table. How much storage do you have on Brian's Penis? Is it mainly for media, or something more noble?

My IT guy had two 320 GB drives laying around so he gave them to me. I got it running, but haven't configured the system yet. My goal was to back up media at home as my kids are creating pictures and videos and such. No real plan, more of a I want to see if I can ... and I did!

I used to think it would be cool to run a media device to serve stuff to Plex, but with streaming services that seems less important now.

This was more like a month project, but it's finally done. Feel free to take a look.

    Very nice, looks really good.

The almost raw-maple look of your shellac finish is a little bright for me, but it almost definitely looks different in person.

That looks amazing Drew. I have to admit I'm a little jealous. It would be nice to have the budget, tools and skills to complete a project like this.

Actually, I don't think my wife would approve of something like this. We have some built in shelves the original owner built and she hates them. She wants to be able to move furniture around.
