Hot on the heels of that article here's a documentary about Minecraft! Yay! It's 85 minutes long, not sure I'll get around to it soon.

Supposedly they've made a big patch improving landscapes and biomes. The "skylands" thing looks cool with all the floaty islands and such.

I dunno if any of you have played with the new terrain update but here's a video that shows some of the really cool features you can find in the 1.7 patch

I have a friend who was planning to get a community minecraft server back up and running, but the WoW bug bit him recently again too. As I'm back to just logging into that to do garrison bullshit that doesn't matter anymore, I wouldn't mind to get back on a server with some other people. It's only ever fun to play if you have other people to play and build with.
