So yeah, I liked this guy's videos, or all the ones that I saw anyway, never had the time to watch all 100+ of them. When he wasn't being completely batshit insane there was something oddly endearing about him. He was like everyone's really eccentric internet granddad.

And then I found this, and now I'm kind of depressed that he has such an awful skeleton in his closet. Since news got around about who he is there's something of a flame war happening on his Youtube channel between the people who want to drive him from the face of the earth and the people saying leave him be, he did his time.

I doubt we'll see anymore videos from him, and if we do I certainly won't be able to enjoy them in the same way anymore.

I agree with you Mac. I suppose it served no good purpose to post that, but I guess I'm trying to sort out how I feel about this, I used to look forward to his weird little videos, and when he stopped posting them I thought maybe he had died since he's old, but then I found all this crap.

That reminds of something that happened back in 3rd or 4th grade. In the first year of band we didn't have full band class, just small group lessons. Me and 3 other kids had a group clarinet lesson together. Our teacher Mr. Cooper was an old guy, probably in his late 60s or early 70s if I had to guess now. One of the girls in my lesson group was a really snotty bitch, used to talk back to teachers all the time. She was giving Mr. Cooper just a ton of crap one day and finally he'd clearly had enough and so he gave her a smack on the ass. She didn't cry or anything, just looked really startled and didn't say anything the rest of the hour. A couple days later the school principal came around to our homeroom class and pulled all the kids taking music out one by one to talk to us individually. We were asked if Mr. Cooper ever touched us in an inappropriate way, or if we'd ever seen him touch anyone in an inappropriate way. The ass-smacking incident popped into my head, but even at 7 I damn well knew the difference between discipline and what the principal was implying, and so I told her no. The next kid to get called out of class to talk to the principal was Snotty Bitch. She came back into the classroom with a big smile, looking rather pleased with herself. A couple weeks later it was announced that Mr. Cooper was retiring (even though it was the middle of the school year). I wish I could have said something more, but at the time I don't know if I would have been able to tell the story right, I was bad at explaining what I meant at times, and it might have been used as more "evidence" against him.
